W. R. MacAskill bequeathed, to his native Nova Scotia, a magnificent collection of internationally-famous marine photographs. We produce these today using the finest photographic materials. Each image is available in black and white, or tinted.

This photo of the grand schooner Independence
earned W. R. MacAskill more than one hundred awards as it hung in many prestigious historical collections.

This image of the Bluenose 1 was the subject of a postage stamp and used on the Canadian 10 cent piece. The Bluenose had the #1 on her sail that year to signify she had won her first international race.

The roaring wash of the surf at Peggys Cove
is captured fully in this magnificent photo decades after this image was captured, Peggy’s Cove remains one of the most photographed places in Canada.
